The Buyers’ Favorite Jewelry Design Competition 2011
WCJ proudly announced that we got 8 prizes in 5 groups of “The Buyers’ Favorite Jewelry Design Competition 2011” organized by Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association. The awards included Best Craftsmanship Award which newly presented this year, Champion and Silver Prize of Earrings, Champion of Bangle & Bracelet, Bronze Prize of Necklace, Silver Prize of Collection, Champion and Bronze Prize of Computer Aided Design Group.

Caring Company Scheme 2010-2011

With an ambition for providing high quality products and excellent customer service, WCJ has launched an extensive collection of fine jewelry under the series of Drop, Butterfly, Eye on fire, Faith, Vogue, Eternity and Elegance during 21 Sep – 25 Sep 2011.
Besides, WCJ has been further collaborating with local art artists whereas art piece -- LIGHT LIGHT has been displayed. This indicates every directions or opportunities are possibly one of the paths in developing the world of jewellery in future.

WCJ is entitled to use the label of the HK Awards for Environmental Excellence for the second year till 31 March 2012. It is under the final assessment of the Environmental Campaign Committee for the continual support of environment protection.

Visual Art Exhibition during June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair (23-26 June 2011)
A place for trade and public visitors closely interact with art and jewellery innovation through an exhibition of inspirational art creation and fabulous new jewellery series. Three local artists are invited to create the art works called “Microsopic Vision”, “Totem of Light” and “Kaleido No Longer in Scope” for which will be presented in June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair from 23-26 June 2011. The crossover art project definitely raises the awareness of the art and the value of creativity.

Presentation of Art Creation SPARKLING CONNECTION in Hong Kong International Jewellery Show
WCJ fully support the local young artists to present their concept. Mr. Hamlet Lin is invited to create the art-piece – SPARKLING CONNECTION which is exhibited during HK International Jewellery Show (March 4-8). Hamlet will be glad to meet the media and all guests to share his experience during “Meet with Artist” on March 4, 2011 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.

The launch of new design from LADIES Series, MEN Series and ENGAGEMENT Series provides the wide selection for buyers located at double-deck booth in Hall 1A230-232, A329-331.

Presentation of PURE HONG KONG CLOTH and Artist Forum in September Hong Kong Show
The art-piece – PURE HONG KONG CLOTH is exhibited during September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2010 (16-20 Sept 2010). The artist Dr Stella Tang is invited to attend the Forum on 16 September 2010 to share her perspective of real-life portrayal behind the glamour. COO of WCJ Mrs Gladys Ip concludes the success of 2010 cross-over art project with Visual Studies Department of Lingnan University. She gladly announced the continued project to be held in the year of 2011.

Presentation of art-piece, Impression
WCJ exhibited the 2nd art-piece - Impression for public appreciation during Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. The artist, Mr. Solly Leung presented his art creation and ideas during the media reception on 24 June 2010. The bankers, business partners, media and artists from the Visual Studies department of Lingnan University are also invited to join the event. CEO of WCJ Mr. Benny Do presented souvenirs to the artists to appreciate their support for the project.

Cultural Art Creation Project 2010
In line with its commitment to supporting the local artistic creation, WCJ launched its first collaboration with the department of Visual Studies of Lingnan University on a cultural art creation project to raise the awareness and interests of industry professionals and public towards jewellery appreciation. The project features a series of exhibitions of art-piece series, including Stargaze which was earlier showcased in March 2010's jewellery Fair. The upcoming art exhibition of the 2nd art-piece Impression will be displayed at Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair in June 2010.

To further develop the business in China, WCJ proudly announced the formation of Strategic Alliance with Osmun Pearls & Jewels Co Ltd in China. CEO of WCJ Mr. Benny Do and GM of Osmun Pearls & Jewels Co Ltd Mr. Sen Rong Gen attended Jewelry Shanghai Show 2010 in April and signed the memorandum of Strategic Partner Agreement.
